How the spend cap works
Every paid plan has a spend cap, and your invoice never goes above it. It starts at the plan price, so nothing is billed beyond the plan until you raise it. When usage reaches what your cap pays for, we keep collecting: the next 50% of that volume is stored in full (only replay pauses), and past that events are sampled with weights (1 in 2, down to at most 1 in 128) so your counts stay statistically correct. Data is never cut off. Raise the cap any time to keep everything.

Annual and startups
Paying annually takes 20% off Starter, Growth and Scale. Early-stage startups can ask about our startup programme.
What counts as an event
Every event that is accepted and stored counts, whatever its name. Crawlers that declare themselves are dropped and never billed, and duplicates from retries are removed before counting.
